Ponirinne

Our stable is home to five ponies who live in the yard and spend their time in the fenced area around it. The paddock includes a forest area that the ponies also have access to. The ponies are in family use in addition to club activities for local children a couple of times a week. The ponies are mainly used for riding and ground work, and Wäinö the Shetland pony is also used for driving. The ponies live in the immediate vicinity of our family and are perfectly accustomed to children. The ponies follow the children’s activities in the yard with keen interest. Here in the winter wonderland, the ponies get to enjoy the snow and cold weather for more than half the year.

“In the previous stable, the ponies were fed from hay nets. Bagging the hay was time-consuming, messy and dusty, and a lot of hay was wasted. The ponies also fought over the food due to the long feeding intervals, and not everyone was able to eat enough as the greedier ponies dominated the hay nets.”

“We bought an automatic hay feeder when we moved the ponies to our own yard. The hay feeder has been worth every euro. The automatic feeders are filled every two weeks, and hay distribution is completely carefree. Practically no hay goes to waste.”

“It’s everything I hoped for and more. The feeder has worked without problems even in -25 °C weather!  The best purchase you can make for your own stable.”
