Delivery

After the customer has confirmed their order, they will receive an order confirmation with delivery times.

Collection: The automatic hay feeder can be picked up from Tuusula at the agreed time, and we will load the feeder into the customer’s vehicle. The customer has the opportunity to inspect the machine in the warehouse before delivery. Our service includes the tendering of freight as well as all arrangements until the automatic hay feeder is delivered to the customer’s address. The customer is responsible for the unpacking of the hay feeder after transport.

Freight: We will tender the freight to the address provided by the customer. We will forward the alternative freight options information to the customer. The customer confirms the desired freight and its terms and conditions on a case-by-case basis.

Delivery time

According to the agreement, the delivery time is 1–3 months, depending on the order volume.

Terms of payment

  • Payment in full after delivery if the delivery time is less than 3 months from the date of the order.
  • Advance payment of 20% in connection with the order if the delivery time is more than 3 months.
  • The term of payment is fourteen (14) days from the date of the invoice.
  • Interest on late payment is in accordance with the Finnish Interest Act.

Warranty

The warranty for our automatic hay feeders is 24 months from the date of the delivery.

The customer must report any defect or damage discovered during the warranty period in writing without undue delay. The supplier is not responsible for any additional damage caused by a delayed report. The supplier decides on the necessary measures on the basis of the defect description provided by the customer. The supplier shall start the investigation and, if necessary, the repair of the defect as soon as possible. Fault reports via email at info@horsehaytec.com

The warranty does not cover the following:

  • the customer has installed the automatic hay feeder contrary to the instructions provided by the supplier
  • natural accidents, such as damage caused by thunderstorms
  • neglect of instructions for use or maintenance
  • if halters are used in the paddock: possible damage caused by halters to the machine and/or horses

Maintenance

The lifting ropes must be replaced every 2.5–4 years.
During use, they only need to be adjusted once a year. Instructions for this can be found in the user’s guide and maintenance manual. No other maintenance is required.

Delivery does not include the following:

The customer is responsible for the unpacking of the hay feeder after transport. Arrangement of power supply to the installation site (power cord and socket): Normally with a 3 x 2.5 mm underground cable. The recommended maximum length for the underground cable is 100 m.

Base specifications: A frost-resistant base is required. We recommend coated concrete, concrete stones or mud control slabs. This allows for the easy removal of sand and cleaning of the hay feeder’s sides.

The roof is constructed using the customer’s own materials. If the customer has not ordered a roof package from us.

Spare parts

We recommend that the customer buys spare ropes in connection with the order. Price per rope €25 (VAT 0%)
