Haymatic® is a patented and innovative automatic hay feeder for paddocks and pastures. The Haymatic® hay feeder is a finished product that adapts to a wide range of applications and does not require large and expensive modifications at the stable. The automatic hay feeder is safe, energy-efficient and designed to enable species-specific feeding for horses. Free yourself from daily hay distribution!

An ingeniously simple operating mechanism creates the foundation for reliability. Haymatic® opens up to 12 times a day, guaranteeing a regular supply of hay for horses. The hay feeder is designed to withstand and function in all weather conditions.

In the summer of 2024, the Haymatic app will be launched to make everyday automation even easier.

Haymatic® 2

6 feeding slots

The Haymatic® 2 hay feeder has two rising feeding walls and six feeding slots. Flexibly adjust the feeding intervals, their length and the height of the feeding walls yourself.

The hay feeder can be placed next to a fence, in which case a new hay bale can be added to the feeder without disturbing the horses.

With the New Bale feature, you can reduce hay waste. The rising walls can be set to a specified height to support the amount of hay inside, for example, for four days.

Haymatic® 2 can later be easily converted to Haymatic® 3.

Thanks to the low-rise base, you can even roll the bale inside.

9 feeding slots

The Haymatic® 3 automatic hay feeder has three rising feeding walls as well as one enclosed wall for bale change. The automatic hay feeder has nine feeding slots.

When the hay feeder is placed next to a fence, you can easily change the bale from the outside without disturbing the horses. Flexibly adjust the feeding intervals, their length and the height of the feeding walls yourself.

With the New Bale feature, you can also reduce hay waste. The rising walls can be set to a specified height to support the amount of hay inside, for example, for four days.

Haymatic® 4

–12 feeding slots

Haymatic® 4 is an automatic hay feeder with four feeding walls and 12 feeding slots. You can flexibly adjust the feeding intervals, their length and the height of the feeding walls yourself.

The automatic hay feeder can be placed in the paddock in many different ways. One popular method is to place the automatic hay feeder in the middle of the paddock, allowing the horses to walk freely around the hay feeder.

The transparent structure of the hay feeder calms down the horses. Adding a new hay bale is easy and fast – just open one feeding wall and place the hay bale inside.

Haymatic® 6 – An active paddock with one automatic hay feeder

Haymatic® 6 is our largest rectangular automatic hay feeder. Haymatic® 6 has up to 18 feeding slots. Flexibly adjust the feeding intervals, their length and the height of the feeding walls yourself.

The ends of the Haymatic® 6 hay feeder (3 doors + 3 doors) can be programmed to open at the same or different times. This makes it possible to build an active paddock with a single automatic hay feeder. The automatic hay feeder can fit 2–3 hay bales at a time. The length of the solid wall in between the feeder can be adjusted.

You can place the automatic hay feeder between two fences longitudinally/transversely or, alternatively, in the middle of the paddock so that the horses can walk freely around the feeder.

Haymatic® Module – feeding tailored to your needs

With the Haymatic® technology, you can design an automatic feeding solution implemented in the wall of an existing building or build a feeding wall that suits your needs.

With the modules, you will have access to everything you need to build an automatic hay feeder, for example, implemented in the wall of your stable. One module contains the necessary equipment for one feeding wall and offers an easy solution for automatic feeding for two horses.

With one control center, you can control 1-3 feeding walls. The control unit also allows you to set separate feeding times for the feeding walls.

Our do-it-yourself automation solutions are also available for existing hay racks. Cost-effective and smart!

Do you want to make your everyday life easier and combine easy-to-use and secure Haymatic® technology with a traditional hay rack? We have automated various hay racks, including brands like Kerbl, Kellfri and Jourdain. Three walls of an existing hay rack can be automated.

The Haymatic® Smartkit has all the durable materials and programmes of the Haymatic® hay feeders – the only difference is the frame of your hay rack. We can ship you the Smartkit automation parts or you can pick them up from our warehouse.

How the Haymatic® automatic hay feeder works

With the Haymatic® automatic hay feeder, feeding horses is flexible and easy.

1. Set feeding times

Decide how often and at what times you want to feed your horses. You can set the automatic hay feeder to open up to 12 times a day. As the hay feeder opens, the walls descend and give the horses access to hay.

2. Determine the feeding time duration

You can determine how long the feeding walls of the hay feeder remain open at a time. The most common feeding time is 30 minutes, but the length can be adjusted freely. Two separate time groups can be set for the feeder. You can also attach a hay net to the prefabricated holes in the hay feeder.

3. Determine the height of the feeding walls

Determine at what height you want the feeding walls to stop ascending. The hay feeder is ideal for both large horses and small ponies, as the height of the walls can be determined according to the size of the horse.

4. New Bale feature

With the New Bale feature, you can also reduce hay waste. The rising walls can be set to a specified height to support the amount of hay inside, for example, for four days.

5. Lifting force of the doors

The lifting force of the doors can also be adjusted freely, depending on the size and strength of the horses.
